The 5M Project

What to do with four acres of unused office space in the heart of San Francisco? Forest City developers approached the Hearst Corporation with a radical idea - make it an open-source creative campus - and they came to us to tell their story. The 5M Project (named for the intersection at 5th and Mission Streets) is a pioneering workplace model that fosters cross-domain collaboration among a carefully curated roster of tenants, including The Hub, Intersection For The Arts, and TechShop. Finally, real estate catches up to the way people work today. Program features a documentary film and website.

The (Use)Less Project

If America keeps consuming at the current rate soon we will need five planets to store all the stuff. America is by far the world’s largest consumer which means also the largest producer of waste. ‘The Useless Project’ is a program that encourages us to look at the things we buy and throw away in a new way. Lets take the things we find ‘useless’ and give them another chance. Useless becomes useful – relieving the need for buying something new. Presented as a transmedia platform featuring a six-part TV series.

A global TV and web series about business and creativity hosted by Dave Stewart and featuring celebrity guests, every one a pioneer in business and entertainment. Based on the business book on creativity and innovation by Dave Stewart and Mark Simmons, BUSINESS PLAYGROUND, has been reshaped as a high energy and playful weekly show aimed at inspiring creativity for entrepreneurs and businesspeople.

Sweater Amnesty

Sweater Amnesty – a Facebook based program that turns ugly holiday sweaters into into blankets for those chronically bereft of warmth. Ugly holiday sweater wearers are given a chance use their bad taste to do good. Transform your sequined holiday horror show into life-saving blankets that could literally mean survival to people for whom heat is the greatest fashion statement of all.

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ is a half hour TV show that gives the shy and polite in our society some help when its time to get aggressive and nasty. The show features a cast of comedy writers who will script outrageously funny but effective confrontation scenarios for real people who have a dirty deed to perform in their real lives. Program features a Facebook component to collect ‘dirty deeds’ to be featured in the TV show.
