Welcome to my brand-spankin’ new site. The work featured here is a snapshot of my journey as a restless advertising creative. A journey starting in one the most revered ad agencies in the country and ultimately leading me to the entertainment capitol of the world – Hollywood. Along the way I have created award-winning ad campaigns, network TV shows and innovative ‘transmedia’ content programs for some of the biggest brands in the country. My approach is to tell entertaining stories in which brands can naturally play a role -- and actively engage consumers in those stories through the media they passionately use and create.
Enjoy.
IN THE WORKS
Hello to you...
CURRENTLY WORKING ON
The 5M Project
What to do with four acres of unused office space in the heart of San Francisco? Forest City developers approached the Hearst Corporation with a radical idea - make it an open-source creative campus - and they came to us to tell their story. The 5M Project (named for the intersection at 5th and Mission Streets) is a pioneering workplace model that fosters cross-domain collaboration among a carefully curated roster of tenants, including The Hub, Intersection For The Arts, and TechShop. Finally, real estate catches up to the way people work today.
Boeing 787 Dreamliner
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner was designed with the frequent flying C-level executives in mind. So who better than America’s most-beloved executive Michael Scott (NBC’s 'The Office') to be on the plane’s first flight ride shotgun on the maiden voyage? This historic and hysterical inaugural flight will be broadcast live as interstitial content on NBC. Project is in development.
Electronic Arts MMA Game
Think ancestry.com meets mixed martial arts fighters. Find out if someone in your past has kicked a lot of ass.
San Francisco Journal Project
The San Francisco Journal Project is a two-day event event designed to celebrate the pencil as the ultimate tool for of self-expression. Attending artists will sketch, and writers will write, about their favorite people, places, and things that make San Francisco so unique. The only requirement: use a pencil (so pretty much anyone can take part). The writings and drawings will be displayed in a high-traffic 'pop-up gallery' in San Francisco, and compiled into a journal to be sold online at Pencils.com.
Ugly Holiday Sweater Amnesty
Here is your chance to get rid of all those ugly christmas sweaters piling up in the closet – too ugly to wear but not too ugly to keep someone in need warm. We have re-imagined them as blankets – like a quilt but with a sense of humor. ‘Ugly Sweater Amnesty’ is a fun spirited do-good holiday content program coming this holiday season.
Pencils.com
‘Freedom Of Expression’ – the new brand platform for Pencils.com. The pencil is no
longer (and never was) lowly office supply. It's the ultimate democratizer of creativity and self-expression. Doesn’t matter if you are two, twelve, or a hundred and twelve - write it, draw it, and share it with the world. With a pencil, you are free to express random genius.
